6 New Car Leasing Deals Under £300 a Month – Car Chat TV Compares Leasing.com and LeaseLoco

If you're looking for a brand-new car without spending £400, £500 or even £600 a month, there are still some seriously interesting leasing deals around.
And this time, rather than just looking at one leasing website, we've compared two of the biggest names in the UK leasing market: Leasing.com and www.LeaseLoco.com
We've picked three deals from each site, all advertised at under £300 a month, and there are some surprisingly interesting cars in the mix.
We're talking SUVs, plug-in hybrids, petrol cars and even some newer brands that you might not have considered before.
So, let's take a look.
Lease deals can change, and initial rentals, fees, mileage allowances and availability differ between offers. Always check the individual deal before ordering.
🚙 Deal 1 – Jeep Avenger
£175.78 a month
Let's start with one of the cheapest deals we've found.
The Jeep Avenger 1.2 Summit T3 is currently advertised on Leasing.com from £175.78 per month.
That is for a personal lease, with the deal showing a 36-month contract, 5,000 miles per year and an initial rental of £2,109.36. There's also an additional £384.99 fee listed, so this isn't simply a case of multiplying £175.78 by 36 and calling it the total cost.
And that's something we want to make clear with all these deals.
Don't just look at the monthly payment.
The Avenger is a small SUV with proper Jeep styling, and the deal currently being advertised is for the 1.2-litre petrol version with a manual gearbox.
If you're looking for a relatively small SUV and don't want to go electric yet, this is certainly an interesting monthly figure.
The catch?
The mileage is only 5,000 miles a year.
If you're doing 10,000 or 12,000 miles a year, you'll need to look at the alternative deals and the price will increase.
⚡ Deal 2 – Leapmotor B10
£175.98 a month
Now this one is particularly interesting.
The Leapmotor B10 is a much newer name to many UK buyers, but Leasing.com is currently showing it from £175.98 a month. The current listing also shows a total lease cost from £6,299.65.
And this is an electric SUV.
So you're potentially getting yourself into a brand-new electric family SUV for less than £180 a month.
That's quite a headline.
The B10 is part of Leapmotor's expanding UK range and is aimed squarely at the mainstream family SUV market.
The important thing with this deal, as always, is to check the exact specification, initial rental and mileage allowance before signing up because the headline monthly price is based on a particular lease configuration.
But if you're interested in switching to an EV, £175.98 a month is certainly going to grab your attention.
Interestingly, Auto Express also highlighted the Leapmotor B10 at around £176 a month in September 2026.
🔋 Deal 3 – BYD Seal 6 Touring
Around £195 a month
Next up is one of my personal favourites from this selection simply because of what you're getting for the money.
The BYD Seal 6 Touring is a plug-in hybrid estate, and LeaseLoco is currently showing the model at around £195 a month on its current deals page.
The current LeaseLoco listing shows a Seal 6 Touring at £195.22 a month, with a 24-month contract, 12 months initial rental and 5,000 miles a year, with a total of £6,832.70.
That's an interesting proposition.
You're getting an estate car rather than a small crossover, and because it's a plug-in hybrid you have the option of doing shorter journeys using electric power while retaining a petrol engine for longer trips.
The big thing to watch here is that the mileage allowance is only 5,000 miles a year on this particular deal.
If you need more mileage, expect the price to change.
But for someone doing relatively low mileage and wanting a practical electrified family car, this is one worth investigating.
🔌 Deal 4 – Leapmotor C10
£184.60 a month
Now we're onto one of the cars supplied directly by you from LeaseLoco.
The Leapmotor C10 158kW Hybrid EV with its 28kWh battery is showing at £184.60 per month.
And this is a big SUV.
LeaseLoco lists it as a large SUV, automatic, petrol plug-in hybrid, with a claimed 706.2mpg figure, 0–62mph in 8.5 seconds and a 400-litre boot. The particular deal you've selected is a 24-month contract with 5,000 miles a year and 12 months' initial rental.
The current LeaseLoco listing gives a total lease cost of £6,461.
And this is where leasing gets interesting.
Because £184.60 doesn't sound like a lot for a large SUV.
The Leapmotor C10 is also appearing prominently on LeaseLoco's current deals pages, where it has a very high LocoScore.
Obviously, the big question with a newer brand is whether you're comfortable moving away from the traditional manufacturers.
But purely from a leasing perspective, this is an interesting deal.
🔋 Deal 5 – Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV
£222.10 a month
Next up is another Chinese manufacturer that we've actually covered here at Car Chat TV.
It's the Chery Tiggo 7 1.5T PHEV Summit 5dr DHT.
Your LeaseLoco deal is showing at £222.10 per month, with a 24-month contract, 10,000 miles per year and 12 months' initial rental.
And this is another fairly substantial SUV.
LeaseLoco lists the Tiggo 7 as a medium SUV with an automatic plug-in hybrid powertrain. The listing gives an 8.5-second 0–62mph time and a 565-litre boot, while road tax and manufacturer breakdown cover are included in the lease.
That 565-litre boot is particularly useful.
Because this isn't just a cheap lease car. It is a family SUV with a decent amount of space.
And compared with the 5,000-mile deals we've looked at, the 10,000-mile annual allowance makes this particular offer more interesting for drivers who actually use their cars.
At £222.10 a month, it's certainly one to have a look at.
🏁 Deal 6 – CUPRA Formentor
£238.92 a month
Finally, we have something a little more familiar.
The CUPRA Formentor 1.5 eTSI 150 V2 DSG is currently listed by LeaseLoco at £238.92 a month.
This particular deal is for a 24-month contract, 10,000 miles a year and nine months' initial rental.
LeaseLoco lists the total lease cost at £8,045.43.
And unlike some of the newer brands we've mentioned, the Formentor is a very established name in the UK.
It's also one of the more stylish cars in this selection.
The 1.5 eTSI uses mild-hybrid technology and is paired with a DSG automatic gearbox. LeaseLoco lists 46.3mpg and a 0–62mph time of around nine seconds, with a 450-litre boot.
So if you're not quite ready to take the plunge with a Chinese manufacturer, the Formentor gives you a more familiar route.
You're paying more than the cheapest deals here, but you're also getting 10,000 miles a year, an automatic gearbox and a well-established crossover.
📊 So Which Deal Should You Look At?
This is where you need to be careful.
Because simply saying "the cheapest car is the best deal" doesn't really work with leasing.
The Jeep Avenger is showing from £175.78 a month, but that particular deal is only 5,000 miles a year and has a £2,109.36 initial rental plus an additional £384.99 fee.
The Leapmotor B10 is almost identical on the monthly figure at £175.98, while the LeaseLoco Leapmotor C10 is £184.60 and has a listed total lease cost of £6,461.
Then you have the Chery Tiggo 7 at £222.10 with 10,000 miles a year, and the CUPRA Formentor at £238.92 with the same 10,000-mile annual allowance.
So don't just compare the monthly payment.
Compare:
Monthly payment + initial rental + fees + contract length + mileage allowance.
That's the real cost of the lease.

Most familiar choice
The CUPRA Formentor.
It's not the cheapest here, but it's a known quantity and gives you a 10,000-mile allowance with an automatic gearbox.
🚨 Don't Get Caught Out By The Headline Price
This is probably the most important part of the whole article.
When you see a car advertised at £175 or £180 a month, don't immediately assume that's what you're going to spend.
You need to look at the initial rental.
For example, the Jeep Avenger deal at £175.78 a month has a £2,109.36 initial rental, plus a £384.99 additional fee.

Because a £200-a-month deal with a small initial payment can potentially work out very differently from a £175-a-month deal requiring a large upfront payment.
🚗 Car Chat TV Verdict
I really like the idea of adding leasing deals to our car reviews because it changes the question from:
"Can I afford this car?"
to:
"Can I actually get this car for a sensible monthly payment?"
And looking at these six deals, there's a really interesting mix.
You've got the tiny-looking monthly payments of the Jeep Avenger and Leapmotor B10, the bigger Leapmotor C10, the family-friendly Chery Tiggo 7, the estate-car practicality of the BYD Seal 6 Touring, and the sporty-looking CUPRA Formentor.
There isn't one deal that automatically suits everybody.
If you're doing only a few thousand miles a year, the lower-mileage deals could make sense.
If you're doing 10,000 miles a year, the Tiggo 7 and Formentor deals become much more relevant.
And if you're interested in an electrified car, the Leapmotor and BYD offers are certainly worth putting on your shortlist.
The biggest lesson? Don't shop on the monthly payment alone.
Look at the whole contract.
